Tuna Ofis has launched a new project in order to support the design and development of contemporary art in Turkey. The “LESS IS A BORE” slogan by Robert Venturi, which is a reaction to the monotony of modern architecture, directs the first exhibition of the project “Contemporary Art in the Tuna Ofis”, where it will be come alive in cooperation of artnivo.com.

Tuna Ofis, always supporting art and design throughout its half-century journey in the furniture sector, continues it with the project “Contemporary Art in the Tuna Ofis” with the cooperation of our country and important designers of the world. The opening exhibition of the project welcomes "LESS IS A BORE", Basako, Mete Ersöz, Neslihan Karaağaç, Özlem Demirel, Seçil Erel and Şakir Gökçebağ. As reaction to the monotony of the modern architecture, the slogan “Less is a bore” by Robert Venturi, who is one of the forerunners of the postmodern architecture, gives the direction of the exhibition. Architectural items such as exaggerating, cartoonish, causeless and arbitrary forms, advertising lights as the postmodern architecture adopts are reinterpreted by the artists on the show and placed on the floors of the Tuna Ofis building.

The exhibition, accompanied by music carefully selected by the artists, will start with the opening cocktail at the Tuna Ofis Altunizade Showroom on Thursday, April 12th. The exhibition will be available free of charge from 10:00 to 18:00 on weekdays until 8 June.
